Cookie notice

The site works if you reject optional cookies. Rejecting is one click, the same size and the same number of steps as accepting. I don't load Google Analytics or the Meta pixel until you accept, and I don't use them to decide whether you can read the checklist.

Strictly necessary

lw_consent — stored in local storage in your browser, not sent to me. It remembers "accepted" or "rejected" for about six months so I don't ask on every page. This is how the choice itself is saved. It is not used for advertising.

The host may set cookies that are strictly necessary to serve the site and keep it secure. I don't use those to build a profile.

Analytics — only after you accept

Google Analytics 4. Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_…. They help me see which pages are used. Retention is whatever is configured in GA4; I will keep it as short as the tool allows. Google's own description is in their privacy policy. The script is added only after you accept, and only once an analytics ID is in place.

On each page, after consent, the site sends a page view. On the thank-you page it also sends a Lead event, so I can see that someone reached the checklist confirmation. Clicking the affiliate button sends an affiliate-click event.

Marketing — only after you accept

Meta (Facebook) pixel. Meta may set cookies such as _fbp. They are used to measure visits and, later, to understand which ads are worth keeping. Meta describes this in their privacy policy. The pixel is added only after you accept, and only once a pixel ID is in place.

After consent, the pixel receives a PageView on each page, a Lead event on the thank-you page, and an AffiliateClick event if you use the affiliate button.

Changing your mind

Use "Cookie settings" in the footer, or the button on this page. Choosing reject stops further analytics and pixel events. If the tools had already loaded, the page reloads and I try to clear the known Analytics and Meta cookies. You can also clear cookies in your browser, or use its tracking protection. That choice is yours and it doesn't affect the checklist.

More about your information is in the privacy notice.
